On previous Monday I read a report on the newspaper the previous Monday about new trends in advertising and marketing campaigns. What caught my attention was the changing preference of the media barons. The writer of the article had done partial justice by limiting the scope to the content only and not the channel.

Economic indicators reveal the bright future for a big chunk of population. People are getting wealthier and are more interested in business content and business news. In such circumstances the media or our popular channels may launch massive campaigns and bombard the psyche of the recipient with all financial terms and business deals. Since, I happen to know about Internet marketing or to be precise affiliate marketing; I would rather say that publisher web sites are better media to disseminate the business news or any deals than the established ones.

One of the most pressing issues faced by the patrons of affiliate marketing is the traditional outlook of the people and deterrence exhibited by the people to accept new media.

Now is the right time as people are willing or rather searching for the business content. Web sites and portals that can provide for business news and trends would be the best buys for the people. With large number of people reading the content or business content, the web site publisher can make an ideal affiliate marketing resource.

As the change in reading preference is new to all, different cross sections of media and different platforms have more or less the same advantages. Now, it depends more on what is being given and less on who is giving. The time has started ticking and tomorrow might be too late.
